I am really enjoying my So Matcha green latte in the morning. The powder blends really easily and is perfect for lattes, smoothies and my new favourite thing - smoothie bowls!
Thanks to Stuart and his team for speedy delivery and the handwritten note, a real special touch. I will definitely buy again from you guys in future!

Anneri

I received my first delivery of SO MATCHA just before Christmas and am loving this new found drink. Been making smoothies, tea mixtures (try peppermint leaves, cinnamon, cardamom and half a teaspoon of Matcha tea for a delicious and invigorating drink). Delivery was quick and Stuart really helpful with following up on my order. Will definitely order again, though I've got a pretty good supply for the moment.

Not all Matcha is created equal

We stock two types of matcha powders. The Superior Grade which can be consumed daily as a health drink has a slightly darker, vibrant colour than the culinary grade matcha, it has a vegetal smell and creamy taste. The Culinary Grade is more suited to baking and blending, it is slightly dull in colour but it contains the same beneficial properties as the Superior Grade.

Why should i drink matcha green tea?

Antioxidants

Antioxidants protect the body from free radicals which are harmful molecules that affect that the human body. Matcha contains 1300 units of antioxidants per gram which is more than any other food.

L-Theanine

Matcha contains many amino-acids but the one that stands out and is slightly more unique than the others is L-Theanine. This amino acid increases alertness and provides mental clarity, it also has been shown to elevate mood.

EGCG (Epigallocatechin Gallate)

One of the many antioxidants found in green tea is EGCG which is known to be a cancer fighting catechin as well as maintaining cardiovascular and metabolic health.

Chlorophyll

The way in which matcha green tea is cultivated allows chlorophyll to be produced by the tea leaves in abundance. It is a green pigment that assists the body in fighting off free radicals and cell damage as well being an excellent source of fibre.
